Excited

Another poetic piece by me (Kavi_Kris)... Enjoy!

Excited by Kavi_Kris

It's the passion, the passion in your eyes.
That gives me ecstasy and the will to go on.
In the crease of your neck, my head lies.
How quick can a heartbeat grow so strong?
Because of our Indian culture we don't touch in front of others,
But how can I resist the appearance of your grace?
When we are alone, we hug passionately like sisters and brothers.
Oh the touch of your face. Tonight was the perfect place to escape.
We indulged in this moment like a boy obsessed with chocolate cake.
It took all the power within me not to falling into your heart.
Of your genuine loving care, I don’t know how much I can take.
Though you give me strength like paper I can easily tear apart.
The way you head fits on the crease of my neck,
I had to remember our Indian culture by nature.
This affects how we connect.
Do I care right now? This moment I am not sure.
It felt so good when you held me in your arms.
I didn’t expect it but I’ve more than charm.
That night was so magical and I have to try,
Not to wear my heart on my sleeve so fast or I’ll cry.

  1. Wow. That sounds romantic yet it describes the communication in your culture.
